Throughout history, beer, love, and weddings have been intertwined. For this project I created a personalized wedding invitation that reflected the couples love of craft beer as well as their dream of opening up their own brewery. The invitations were printed on Gmund Beir paper, made from recycled beer labels. The box invitation contained two shafts of wheat, two custom printed bottle caps, and eight cards. Some cards highlighted historical facts about love and beer. As an added personalized feature, the couples favorite craft breweries supplied personalized messages of love and brewing to the couple.
Kiera Beera Birth Announcement
What does a designer with an Irish last name do when she has a baby that is born on St. Patrick's Day? Design a celebratory birth announcement of course! And what better way to celebrate an Irish baby than with a toast of Guinness. 100 custom designed labels were hand applied and placed in boxes that included authentic coasters and photograph of the cute kid.
A Cross Cultural Wedding
They say that love knows no bounds, so this wedding invitation needed to appeal to guests on 4 continents. The groom was born in Belgium, lived in Africa was schooled in Russia before moving to the U.S. to find and marry the woman of his dreams. Using the images of celebratory masks of several African tribes, Quotes of love and happiness from world famous authors and rare paper made from the Babinga tree, this invitation was printed in several languages and mailed all over the world.
Love in the City
This edgy wedding invitation featured the love this couple shared for the city of Philadelphia. Their fondest dating memories, from kissing in Love park to sharing chocolate at Max Brenners, were highlighted in this invitation suite. The tall thin design in rich earthy browns, electric orange and a hint of leopard print was a true reflection of the couple's fashionable style.
